Well this is another hobby horse on my health and wellness journey. Sobriety.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been pretty health and I certainly never felt like alcohol was a problem. But I can do better.

Can I reduce or eliminate my drinking? Do I want to? I don’t know.

I definitely don’t want to have “episodes” where I embarrass myself a bit (once the shots start on gameday…). I do want to sleep better and feel better and train better. Part of my drinking is just habit. Part of it is our lifestyle.

Asking the questions is worthwhile. As long as you keep doing that, you'll find your answer. In my experience, all the things you mention DID get appreciably better. And, as far as lifestyle, I simply settled into a different one (and it's great).
