Ope! Looks like we have some birthdays to celebrate! *noogies* Today is my big day and Running Lightly just turned one. While I’m a few years older than this project (fifty, to be precise), we have a lot in common and I can see us growing old together.

If you’ve been around for a while, you get it, and if you’re new here, you’ll see… Running Lightly is kind of ethereal. That’s a haughty way of saying I’m making it up as I go. What I know is, my relationship with the sport is deepening and I want to give life to the experience. Here’s what it seems to be today (subject to change):
Whatever this is and whatever it becomes, I hope my musings hit a mix of insightful, entertaining, and helpful. The creative process does that for me. It’s been a hoot so far, and I’m giddy to see what the next year brings.
