I like your noticing. It reminded me that about 7 years ago I set myself the challenge to do 1 minute freewriting as soon as I got back from a run for 100 runs. Not for anyone other than myself to read and with no intention. 1 made it to 27 runs. Maybe I’ll give it another shot.

Loved the favourite moments! And question: why are gels the thing and not something more liquid or harder? That’s the biggest issue I’ve got with gels. The consistency and the texture.
Thank you for reading. I'm not sure why gels are gels.. There are options available for more liquid and solid-state calories. On long days, I almost have to have some variety because the goo gets really unappetizing (Clif Shot Bloks have been the thing this year). I tend to only drink plain water to keep the calories and electrolytes separate and measurable.
