It was (and will always be) the smooch at mile 5. I'm still smiling about the guy behind me who thought maybe anybody could get one of those 😂. My favorite trail shoes right now are the old guy approved Hoka Speedgoats. I have lighter shoes, but none more comfortable. Turns out, when I'm comfy it's easier to be fast!
