Please introduce yourself.
It's like a middle school locker room on the first day of gym class.
Okay, this is nothing like a middle school locker room (and sorry to stir the memories). This is just a chance to to say hello, let us know what brought you here, and tell us a little about yourself. Here are a few ideas:
What kinds of content would you like to see here?
Where are you in your running journey?
What challenges do you face in running? In life?

My name is Betty Jones, will be 72 yrs old 29th of this month. I love running, did my 1st half/mara in Nashville, one month before I was 50. Last Sept at the Amish h/ma at 71 I finished my 40th half. Had trained for a half to be in Savannah Ga this past April, just as I started tapering I came down with Covid!!!! It zapped me so badly. I live around 50 minutes from Nville, their half was April 27, still to weak for the half, but went and did the 6.2.. it was bittersweet......
I would love hearing about older runners. I have alot of back issues, have had 3 back surgeries. Stories about people still running with all different kinds of adversities truly inspire me..... Okay, enough is enough. Looking forward to what you have to say.....
My name's Mike, and I am stoked to be launching this project for you. After two years exploring the intersections of running and alcohol-free living at lastchancerunning.com, I’ve brought the party to Substack.
Running Lightly is a logical evolution. As my relationship with sobriety moves from one of effort toward one of being, I want to spread my wings a bit… expand the subject matter. Plus, this platform removes barriers to writing, which is what I really want to do.
Last Chance Running was a labor of love, and it stings a little to let it go. But I’m excited about the possibilities. I look forward to hearing what brought you here!
